CDA creates comprehensive professional development workshops at the time of releasing new technical guidance.

Workshops are offered at the CDA Annual Conference, and both regionally and internationally throughout the year or upon request.

Dam Safety Reviews

This workshop presents the concepts and process developed in the Canadian Dam Association's recently completed Technical Bulletin on Dam Safety Reviews. A case study is a key component of the workshop, and delegates will work through how to scope a dam safety review, how to work through the hazard-failure mode-control aspect of the safety analysis, and how to present the findings of a dam safety review.

A copy of the workshop binder, continental breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks are included in the cost of the workshop.
The workshop is aimed at dam owners, consultants and regulators who want to know what the Canadian Dam Association considers to be good practice for dam safety reviews.
This workshop is being offered March 8, 2018 in Regina, Saskatchewan.

CDA appreciates the support of the SaskPower, and the Saskatchewan Water Security Agency for this event.
